How it works
Polyranks ranks every Polymarket sports trader by closing-line value (CLV), sourced live from on-chain trades. We verify who consistently beat the market over the rolling 30-day window — verified skill, not luck.
Polymarket is the largest decentralized prediction market for US sports. Every order that fills writes a row to the Polygon blockchain. The data is public — we just organize it.
For each wallet that traded sport markets, we price every bet against the market’s closing line (the kickoff VWAP) to compute closing-line value (CLV), alongside win rate and bet sizing. Wallets that clear the Verified Sharp gate (20+ closing-line-priced bets with positive band-weighted CLV, over a rolling 30-day window) get ranked by Sharp Score and shown with their percentile. The leaderboard refreshes every 5 minutes, the snapshot every 24 hours.
The product is read-only. We never touch your funds, never place trades, never custody anything. The “Follow on Polymarket” button deep-links to Polymarket with our affiliate ref — that’s how we keep the lights on.
Every trade on Polymarket settles on the Polygon blockchain. We run our own Envio HyperIndex node that ingests every CTF Exchange OrderFilled event in real time. Nothing is scraped — it's the same on-chain truth that Polymarket itself reads from.
We rank by closing-line value (CLV). For every settled bet we compare the wallet's entry price to the market's closing line (the kickoff VWAP, i.e. the sharpest price the market reached). Wallets are sorted by Sharp Score — band-weighted CLV — so the top of the leaderboard is the wallets that were most consistently right before the rest of the market caught up.
Sports edges come and go with form, injuries, and market regimes. A 30-day rolling window is long enough to gather a meaningful sample of closing-line-priced bets, but short enough that the leaderboard reflects whether a wallet is still beating the market — not who got lucky years ago.
A wallet earns the Verified Sharp badge once it clears the gate of 20+ closing-line-priced bets in the rolling 30-day window and posts positive band-weighted closing-line value (CLV) — i.e. it was consistently right before the market caught up. It's a measure of verified skill, not a profit guarantee. Each wallet's percentile ("Top X%") is its rank by Sharp Score among all verified sharps.
Every wallet card and leaderboard row has a 'Follow on Polymarket ↗' button that deep-links to that trader's Polymarket profile, where you can see their open positions. Polyranks is read-only — we never place trades or custody funds.
Market-making wallets (>200 distinct counterparties) are excluded automatically. Pure-volume and spam wallets usually fail the qualifying gate (too few closing-line-priced bets, sub-threshold stakes) so they don't surface either.
Polymarket's leaderboard is volume-weighted and lifetime. Polyranks ranks by closing-line value over a rolling 30-day window. We answer 'who is genuinely sharp right now' rather than 'who has traded the most ever'.
